Bang Restaurant
Provide artwork for a restaurant to enhance the feel and decor of the space, to be of interest to the patrons while remaining subtle.
BRIEF
I designed a series of paintings of striking female portraits, that would create impact without being overpowering. As they needed to be large in format in order to fill the wall spaces, it was essential for the subjects to be implied and suggestive in their content, treatment and colour.
PROCESS
A series of paintings commissioned by Bang Restaurant on Dublin’s Merrion Row. These paintings are large format and are painted using acrylic and gesso on marine plywood.
