Traditionally, company employee manuals were regarded as information documents which workers were obliged to ingest, with little or no emphasis on their design.

Primark, as a multinational retailer with over 70,000 employees in several countries, wanted to produce this material to be easily readable.

As part of the design team we used a combination of compact booklets, primary colours and colourways, along with concise and digestible sections to produce manuals that are user-centred and engaging.
